Acting legend and now a musician, Bill Murray does it all.
Murray will be releasing a classical album called “New Worlds” this year. The New York Times is reporting that the actor has been recording the project in New York over the past few months.
The album is a collection of both songs and literary recordings, which will be accompanied by Jan Vogler chamber music and other classical pieces.
It is set for release in August and will include some of the actor’s covers of other songs. On it, Murray has covered Stephen Foster’s “Jeanie with the Light Brown Hair” and even some songs from “West Side Story”.
Murray will also cover readings by authors like Walt Whitman and Ernest Hemingway, which will be set to classic pieces of music.
The actor will premiere some of his work from the album at upcoming live shows across North America this summer.
