Harry Styles is fueling ongoing rumours he’s set to play a young Mick Jagger in an upcoming biopic about the Rolling Stones frontman.
Styles could barely keep his cheeky grin at bay when being questioned about the potential movie role during his appearance on “The Graham Norton Show”, airing Friday night.
After flatly denying he’d eaten dog or applied sheep’s placenta to his face, the 23-year-old One Direction member reacted in a noticeably different manner when asked about being shortlisted to play a young Han Solo in an upcoming “Star Wars” film; and whether he would take on Jagger’s famous moves in what would surely be the role of a lifetime.
The casting wouldn’t come as a surprise after Styles impressed TV watchers recently when he aced an impression of the musician on “Saturday Night Live”.
The late-night appearance also featured a performance of his single “Sign of the Times” and saw him open up about his highly anticipated album, out May 12. “I am excited and really proud of it,” he told Norton.
“I have worked so hard on it,” Styles added, before giving credit to his supportive band members. “I don’t feel on my own because I have such an amazing band.”
“There’s certainly more room in the dressing room!” Norton joked about his new solo venture.
