Ahead of “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” opening on May 5, Chris Pratt is being honoured with a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame.
The entire ceremony will be livestreamed beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET. today.
Pratt’s “GOTG” director James Gunn and wife Anna Faris will induct the “Jurassic World” actor at the ceremony held at the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Blvd.
Faris Tweeted a series of hilarious behind-the-scenes photos as the stars prepped for Pratt’s big day.
While Pratt’s name may now be synonymous with blockbusters like the two Marvel “Guardians” films and “Jurassic World”, the actor was discovered waiting tables at a Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant by director and actress Rae Dawn Chong.
Before turning to the big screen, Pratt spent several seasons on the TV dramas “Everwood” and “The O.C.” before turning to comedy and gaining fame in “Parks And Recreation”.
His other film roles include “Zero Dark Thirty”, “Her”, “Moneyball” and “The Magnificent Seven”.
