While Nick Viall continues to foxtrot and samba his way into the hearts of viewers each week on “Dancing With the Stars”, the reality star is opening up about his relationship with “Bachelor” fiancee Vanessa Grimaldi, admitting the two are working to overcome some challenges.
Appearing on KTLA’s morning show on Friday, Viall pointed out the obvious: that weeding through a mob of women on a TV reality show is maybe not the greatest way to find a mate.
“Vanessa and I have never really pretended, even since ‘After the Final Rose’, of trying to be that perfect couple,” Viall said. “We’ve been pretty up front of the challenges that come with meeting in ‘Bachelor’ world — it’s not the ideal experience.”
He added: “We’ve been pretty up front about having a lot of things to work on, and we’re excited about doing that. So we don’t feel any pressure like that — we’re just kind of doing our own thing.”
During the interview, Viall also discussed his current gig on “DWTS”. “I don’t think I’ll ever get totally used to it, but I feel like I’m finally able to enjoy it,” he said.
