Eric Dane has called for a halt on the production on his hit show “The Last Ship” as he deals with his depression.
The former “Grey’s Anatomy” star asked for the cast and crew to take a break while he got some much needed rest through Memorial Day.
“Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues,” a rep for the actor told Variety. “He suffers from depression and has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted that request. He looks forward to returning.”
The 44-year-old has been married to fashion model Rebecca Gayheart for 13 years and the couple share two daughters, seven-year-old Billie Beatrice and five-year-old Georgia.
Season four of the action drama is expected to premiere this summer and should not be affected by the hiatus.
