A young fan was blown away after getting a surprise FaceTime call from none other than “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson.
Therese Kiara’s mother spotted Watson on the street and asked the British star for some advice for her daughter as she was studying for a biology exam. The girl’s mother used FaceTime to politely ask the actress to say hello to her daughter while she was at home studying.
“I was studying for my Bio exam when my Mom called to show Emma Watson standing behind her, then she politely asked Emma if she can say hi to me on the cam,” she wrote on Facebook.
“Hi!” Study hard!”, Watson then tells Therese, according to the Mirror.
“She was so kind and sweet,” the student says.
Watson took time off from her busy acting career to study at Brown University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature in May 2014.
The impromptu FaceTime call isn’t the first time Watson has given strangers advice.
The “Beauty And The Beast” star dished out advice via an iPad in New York’s Grand Central Station as part of a segment with Vanity Fair in February. For $2 a pop, fans were able to ask for the actress’ life advice on everything from how to tell friends you’re expecting a baby to the best gifts to give your partner on Valentine’s Day.
