The very busy Bradley Cooper makes a special appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” star sits down with DeGeneres and talks about his upcoming “A Star Is Born” remake and his new life as a father.
“She’s unbelievable,” Cooper says about Lady Gaga, who stars alongside him in “A Star Is Born”, which he is also directing. Though Cooper doesn’t really sing, the movie has given him a whole new appreciation for those who can. “I had no idea. I would get fatigued at the end of even a phrase,” he admits.
Cooper also discusses the beard he’s growing for the role and how he’s had to trim it down. He admits he doesn’t get recognized in public with the beard and he’s even gotten confused for his “The Hangover” co-star Zach Galifianakis.
DeGeneres also teases him about his role in “American Sniper” and how he had to act with a fake baby. “I knew you’d be a good dad when I saw you in ‘American Sniper,'” the host jokes before showing a clip of him from the movie.
He also reveals how they came up with the voice for Rocket, the raccoon in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.”It’s like Gilbert Gottfried meets Joe Pesci. That’s sort of where we came up with it,” he says.
