Harry Styles gifted fans with a snippet of his “Sign of the Times” music video on Saturday.
The 15-second teaser begins with a landscape shot of a waterfall, a forest and a tiny figure (presumably Styles) floating over the scenery as the song’s opening piano chords play. The official video is slated to drop on Monday, May 8.
The 23-year-old’s debut solo single is off of his upcoming self-titled album, which will be released on May 12 by Columbia Records.
“It’s the song I’m most proud of writing, I think,” Styles previously said about the ballad in an interview with Radio One. “I wrote most of the album in Jamaica, I was in Jamaica for two months. I just wanted to not be distracted… I really liked being away from everything.”
This week, Styles released his second single “Sweet Creature,” which instantly hit No. 1 on the real time Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart, and sold out his first world tour in a matter of seconds! It’s no doubt that One Direction fans are eager to once again see the singer on stage.
“I am overwhelmed, thank you. If I don’t get to see you this tour, I’ll come back around next year if you’ll have me. Love, H,” the crooner wrote on Twitter.
Aside from working on his solo album, Styles will also be seen in the upcoming Christopher Nolan war drama “Dunkirk”, scheduled to arrive in theatres on July 21.
