Anticipation is building for the upcoming revival of “Twin Peaks”, and Thursday brought us a new look at the new 18-episode reboot from director David Lynch.
As expected, it’s a big slice of Pacific Northwest weirdness, offering a look at some intriguing vignettes, some familiar faces… and not a whole lot else.
Among those faces: Lynch and the late Miguel Ferrer as FBI agents Gordon Cole and Albert Rosenfield, respectively, along with Shelly Johnson (Madchen Amick), sitting with some companions at a roadhouse.
We also see Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz) and helium-voiced receptionist Lucy Moran (Kimmy Robertson) working at the Twin Peaks police station, along with a glimpse of Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) driving in a darkened car at night.
We’ll find out what it all means when the all-new “Twin Peaks” makes its debut on Sunday, May 21. The series will also screen as part of the Cannes Film Festival line-up.
