Travis Scott has been arrested following a concert in Rogers, Arkansas on Saturday May 13.
US Weekly reports that Kylie Jenner’s new beau was taken into police custody after leaving the stage at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion.
Scott, who’s real name is Jacques Webster Jr., reportedly “encouraged people to rush the stage and bypass the security protocols to ensure concertgoer safety.”
A security guard and a member of the police department were injured, along with several others after the crowd rushed the stage. The Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical treated the injuries.
Scott’s tour photographer seemingly confirmed the incident, posting a photo of the rapper, along with the hashtag #freetravisscott.
Charged with inciting a riot, endangering the welfare of a minor and disorderly conduct, the rapper was taken to the Benton County Sheriff’s office and was released without bail at 11:30 pm.
This isn’t the first time the 25-year-old has had a run-in with the law. He was arrested in Chicago in 2015 for a similar incident where he was charged with disorderly conduct after telling the crowd at Lollapalooza to climb over security barricades.
And weeks ago, the rapper assured a fan at a New York concert that the people in the pit would catch him, if he jumped from a third story balcony. The fan obliged and footage of the stunt went viral.
Scott was not arrested following the stunt, but the fan was hospitalized after the people in the pit failed to catch him and he broke his leg.
The rapper is currently travelling with his Birds Eye View Tour, which has a scheduled stop in Toronto July 25. Scott and Jenner started dating shortly after her split with longtime boyfriend Tyga.
