A year after Ozzy Osbourne admitted to an extramarital affair that almost ended his three-decade marriage, the rocker and wife Sharon Osbourne are still together — so together, in fact, that the couple recently renewed their wedding vows.
In an interview with Hello! Magazine, the Black Sabbath front man, 68, revealed that he and Sharon renewed their vows in Las Vegas on Mother’s Day.
“For me, this was actually our real wedding day,” he explained. “This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”
Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne shared an Instagram photo of the beaming couple on Mother’s Day, noting it was the “best Mother’s Day ever!”
The couple, who wed in 1982, briefly split up after “the Prince of Darkness” confessed to having an affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh, but reunited shortly afterwards.
“I made a huge mistake,” Osbourne told Hello! “Without Sharon, I am nothing. I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife.”
According to the magazine, Sharon, 64, thanked her husband for “coming home” while they exchanged vows, and she told the Hello! that even though it hasn’t been easy, she’s forgiven him.
“It was hard to rebuild the trust, but I can’t imagine my life without Ozzy,” she added. “The ceremony was just beautiful. We’ve fallen in love all over again.”
Osbourne addressed the state of her marriage on a recent edition of “The Talk”, revealing she’s fallen in love with her husband all over again.
“Thirty-five years with someone is a hell of a long time. And I think I fell out of love with my husband and then fell back again,” she said on the show.
“I forgive. It’s going take a long time to trust, but we’ve been together 36 years, 34 of marriage,” she added. “I just can’t think of my life without him.” Watch:
