Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump impression has been the cornerstone of this season of “Saturday Night Live”, and nobody on TV has managed a more hilarious take on the blustery Commander in Chief.
Nobody, that is, except Baldwin’s three-year-old daughter, proving the proverbial apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to talent in the Baldwin family.
Taking to Instagram, Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, shared this delightful video of the former “30 Rock” star and daughter Carmen, who clearly inherited her dad’s gift for mimicry.
“Carmen, what day does daddy play Donald Trump?” Hilaria (off-camera) asks Carmen.
“Saturday!” replies Carmen, who then raises her hands and begins imitating her dad’s movements.
“And we go like this with our hands and say Saturday. Saturday. Saturday. OK everybody, it’s Saturday,” says Baldwin as his daughter repeats his every word.
Baldwin will almost certainly be seen in tonight’s season finale of “Saturday Night Live”, which he teased on Twitter by sharing a photo of himself in his finest Trump-ery, writing, “One more time.”
The season finale of “SNL” features host Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and musical guest Katy Perry, airing Saturday, May 20 at 8:30 p.m. PT and 11:30 p.m. ET on Global.
