A new trailer has arrived for “The Hitman’s Bodyguard”, an action-packed film that teams up Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson, arguably one of the most anticipated big-screen pairings in recent memory.
In the flick, Reynolds plays the world’s foremost protection agent, whose latest job is to protect the life of one of the world’s most notorious assassins (Jackson) — who also happens to be his mortal enemy.
While the two had previously gone to great lengths to attempt to kill each other, now the only way this mismatched pair can save their own skins is to protect each other, which is easier said than done when a brutal Eastern European dictator (Gary Oldman) enters the picture.
“The Hitman’s Bodyguard” is scheduled to hit theatres on Aug. 18.
Meanwhile, Jackson appeared in a sketch on Thursday night’s edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, in which he’s been asked to record a commercial for the upcoming movie. Lucky for him, Kimmel sidekick Guillermo is on hand to help the “Pulp Fiction” star tone down some of his saltier language. Watch:
