A year after Ozzy Osbourne’s cheating scandal nearly ended his marriage, the Black Sabbath rocker’s relationship with wife Sharon Osbourne is stronger than ever — so much so that the couple recently renewed their wedding vows.
During Monday’s edition of “The Talk”, Sharon Osbourne shared some exclusive phots from the ceremony, which took place in Las Vegas on Mother’s Day.
“It was really something that came out of nowhere,” she said on the show. “Ozzy called me and said, ‘I was thinking about wedding vows and I wished I had said this and this to you at the time that we were married and I didn’t, so I want to be able to say this to you; I want to be able to renew our vows’ and I said, ‘Great, when?’ He goes, ‘The weekend!’ and that was like four days before, and he goes, ‘It would be fun to do it in Vegas, let’s go to Vegas,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re on!’ We went, just the two of us, and no kids, no grandkids, no nothing, and it was really, really romantic. It was wonderful.”
In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Sharon admitted that rebuilding trust after Ozzy’s infidelity wasn’t easy, but revealed that working together to overcome their marital difficulties wound up bringing them even closer.
“It was hard to rebuild the trust, but I can’t imagine my life without Ozzy,” she added. “The ceremony was just beautiful. We’ve fallen in love all over again.”
“For me, this was actually our real wedding day,” added Ozzy, who married Sharon in 1982. “This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”
The beaming couple are all smiles in a photo taken that day, which Sharon posted on Instagram:
