Ariana Grande Resumes ‘Dangerous Woman’ Tour, Security Tight At Paris Show

Ariana Grande is back on the road, resuming her Dangerous Woman tour less than three weeks after the devastating terror attack that left 22 concertgoers dead at her Manchester show on May 22, and just days after the subsequent One Love benefit concert that saw her return to the city.

After postponing her tour in the wake of the attack, Grande’s first tour stop was Paris, and she took to Instagram to share a photo of the iconic Eiffel Tower during her time in the City of Lights.

“First show back tonight,” an emotional Grande wrote on Wednesday. “Thinking of our angels every step of the way. I love you with all my heart. ☁️ ♡ 🙏🏼 Grateful for and incredibly proud of my band, dancers and entire crew. I love you I love you.”

The show was apparently a success, and Grande returned to Instagram after the performance to thank her fans (in French, bien sûr), adding that she’s “grateful to be back.”

Merci, Paris ♡ Je t'aime Grateful to be back 🙏🏼

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that nothing was being left to chance when it came to security at the Paris concert, noting that fans at the show were “subject to a security check so tight … it might make TSA agents blush.”

In fact, this video on social media shows fans being searched and frisked by security personnel before being allowed to enter the Accorhotels Arena.

Footage from the concert shows Grande singing the Judy Garland classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, which she memorably sang to close Sunday’s One Love Manchester benefit show. Watch:
