Hayden Christensen is back in the high stakes action film “First Kill” with Bruce Willis and we have your first look.
The flick marks a familiar return for Willis, who is basically the guru of playing a hard-nosed cop at this point in his career. “First Kill” does mark the welcomed return of Vancouver’s Christensen, who makes his way to the big screen for the first time in two years!
The movie centres around Christensen, who plays a big shot Wall Street broker who brings his family on a hunting trip to the cabin where he grew up.
While out hunting with his son, Danny, the two witness a shooting in the woods. Christensen’s character Will helps rescue the man, a criminal who in return kidnaps his son Danny and forces Will into a comprising position. Will is forced to help the kidnappers evade the police chief (Bruce Willis) in order to save his son’s life.
“First Kill” marks an interesting time in the careers of both Christensen and Willis. The Canadian-born actor’s career has been full of sabbaticals, including a four-year-long break in 2010, but he has two more films set to release in 2017 and 2018. Christensen, who welcomed a daughter with partner Rachel Bilson in 2014, also attended his first “Star Wars Celebration” in 15 years in April.
Willis, 62, will reprise one of his most beloved roles in 2019’s “Unbreakable” sequel “Glass”.
“First Kill” blasts into theatres on July 21.
