Miranda Kerr opened up about her recent wedding to Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel while appearing in a panel for Goop Health on Saturday, and had some surprising revelations to share with host Gwyneth Paltrow.
“Our wedding was just so joyful,” Kerr said at the panel, held in Culver City, California, reports People. “We started the day, did yoga, then our families came over and we literally had this celebration in our backyard. It was incredible. It was so magical.”
As Kerr explains, she’s recently embraced Kundalini yoga, which she says “includes a lot of breath work and chanting and meditation.”
This variety of yoga, she says, “energetically invigorates me. Without that, I don’t know that I’d be able to do everything that I do.”
During the panel discussion, Kerr also revealed that she’s undergone some unusual beauty treatments in the past — including one that involves placing blood-sucking leeches on her face.
“I’ve had a leech facial,” Kerr revealed. “I kept the leeches, they’re in my koi pond. You’re not allowed to reuse them and if you don’t take them home then she kills them and I didn’t like that idea.”
Paltrow, no stranger to offbeat health and beauty regimes herself, offered the perfect response: “Wow! I thought I was bats**t crazy!”
“It’s adventurous,” Kerr replied. “Health is wealth. They’ve been doing leech therapy for thousands of years.”
