As Adele prepares to close out the final leg of her world tour this week, the singer already has her sights set on a money-making venture when she steps away from the spotlight.
The British singer has set up her very own Etsy shop, where she’s been selling handmade pom-poms, she revealed Thursday night.
While speaking with her fans during one of her final concerts of the year, Adele shared her post-tour plans. “I’ve got a new secret hobby. I mean, I say hobby, it’ll probably only last a few days!” she teased. “I have a new hobby making pom-poms. I’m quite good at it! I am such a natural. I made a real cat on purpose.”
Being the savvy businesswoman that she is, Adele isn’t missing out on the opportunity to capitalize on her newfound talents. “I’ve even set up an Etsy account,” she told the crowd.
On Wednesday night, Adele hinted at a possible retirement when she drafted a handwritten note for her fans. “Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well,” she admitted. “I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live. And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.”
Adele is set to perform her final two tour dates on July 1 and 2 at Wembley Arena in London.
