Drake is never one to pass on a great party, especially when it comes to Canada’s 150th birthday celebrations.
On Sunday night, the 30-year-old Canadian rapper surprised fans in his hometown of Toronto with a special performance of “Jumpman” during day three of the City of Toronto’s spectacular four-day music event.
Taking the stage at Nathan Phillips Square in front of more than 50,000 local residents, the self-proclaimed “6ix God” joined an array of artists from OVOSounds, including Dvsn, Majid Jordan and Roy Woods.
Other special music acts over the weekend included, the Barenaked Ladies, the Born Ruffians, Ron Sexsmith and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Drake later shared some images from his surprise performance to Instagram, featuring a mega fireworks display.
