Emily Ratajkowski is getting candid about the difficulty she has faced for being open about her own sexuality.
As the August cover star of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, the 26-year-old model and actress, who shot to stardom after appearing topless in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” music video back in 2013, tells the magazine that her body has prevented her from landing certain acting jobs.
“There’s this thing that happens to me: ‘Oh, she’s too sexy,'” Ratajkowski reveals to the magazine. “It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big.”
The self-proclaimed feminist continues, “What’s wrong with boobs? They’re a beautiful feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares? They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?”
Ratajkowski goes on to gush about her longtime boyfriend, music producer Jeff Magid. “My boyfriend is super confident and was raised by his mum, so he genuinely loves and admires women,” she says, adding, “so he loves what I’m all about.”
