“Baby Driver” earned rave reviews from critics and surprised at the box-office over the weekend but there was one person it did not impress: Anthony Bourdain.
Bourdain took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the movie that, clearly, he did not enjoy. “F**k BABY DRIVER,” Bourdain tweeted.
Well, “Selma” and “A Wrinkle In Time” director Ava DuVernay took Bourdain to school when she replied to his review. She said he is entitled to his own opinion, but he should have some respect for those who made the movie.
“You’re better than this. Critique doesn’t have to be cruel,” DuVernay wrote.
Bourdain has yet to respond directly to DuVernay. Instead, he tweeted a poster for the 2011 movie “The Raid” and simply captioned it with the word “quality”.
Looks like Bourdain won’t be lining up for “Baby Driver 2“.
