It seems not all superheroes are invincible.
Jeremy Renner got a little too into playing Hawkeye while filming “Avengers: Infinity War”. The actor shared a picture in June of his injury with the caption, “Fall down seven times…stand up 8! #fixedup #pushthrough”.
On Thursday, Renner made an appearance at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival and seems to be taking his injury in stride. “That’s how it goes. It’s part of the job,” Renner said.
The actor said the injury won’t stop him from doing anything and he’s working on healing both his fractured arms. “I’m sort of a problem solver, you know. There will be an effect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing. I’ll heal fast. I’m doing everything I can to heal faster.”
Luckily, Renner’s next movie is the comedy “Tag” with Isla Fisher — a film that won’t involve a lot of stunts.
“I don’t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. So it won’t really affect my job,” he said. But it has impacted him getting ready every day. “It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I can’t tie my shoes, but outside of that and everything else, I can kind of get by.”
Thankfully, he’ll be healed before “Avengers: Infinity War” continues filming. “I shall heal up before ‘Avengers’ starts up again. I have fractured my right elbow and left wrist. This is my face in pain,” he said.
Get better soon!
