“Million Dollar Matchmaker” star Patti Stanger was the victim of a top dollar robbery in May.
The 56-year-old reality star reported $300,000 worth of jewelry, purses, and clothing stolen from her Los Angeles hotel room.
Stanger was staying at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel filming scenes for the new season of her show, TMZ reported, when the lock was broken on her room’s first floor patio door. Stanger was not in the room when the theft occurred.
Law enforcement is reportedly investigating the case, but there have been no arrests, and it’s not known whether there is surveillance video of the incident. There has been no comment from Stanger, the show’s production company, the Luxe, or the Los Angeles Police Department, according to People.
Stanger first came to prominence in 2008 with the hit Bravo dating series “Millionaire Matchmaker”. The show saw her playing matchmaker each episode to two extremely wealthy clients. In 2016 she premiered the series “Million Dollar Matchmaker”, which airs on Slice in Canada, and features the same basic premise.
