Grab the tissues because Demi Lovato just shared the sweetest thank you note with her fans.
After a recent trip to Hamburg, Germany, the singer took to Twitter on Monday and took a moment to reflect on the loyalty of her fanbase, the aptly titled “Lovatics”.
The trip reminded Lovato that no matter our differences, we should all love one another. “I am lucky to be in a position to have the love of tens of millions of people. It’s so unreal! I look at my followers on social media and the people I get to meet during shows and just out and about, and the kindness of every single one of you continuously blows me away,” Lovato shared in the note.
She also revealed that over the past few months, she’s made the decision to slow things down a little. The change of pace was so that she could meet more and more of her fans and learn about them.
Lovato also thanked her fans for being by her side during this time. She was worried that if she stepped away they would be upset with her, but instead, they showed her their support.
“I’m so happy that I was able to come back to writing music more energized and inspired than ever, and to be able to give my all and more, to this new chapter,” she said.
She also teased her upcoming song “Sorry Not Sorry” and hopes it makes all her fans dance.
“‘Sorry Not Sorry’ is the first of many songs that I’ve been working on, and I can’t wait for you guys to hear all of them. I hope this song makes you get off your seat and dance like you never have before,” she teased.
