Princess Charlotte was not content while taking a tour of a helicopter in Hamburg, Germany, on Friday.
Wrapping up a packed five-day royal tour of Poland and Germany, Prince William and Duchess Kate brought their two children, Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 2, to visit the Airbus training facilities located at the Hamburg airport where they met with apprentices and checked out the interior of an EC145 helicopter.
On the tarmac, the youngest royal wasn’t having it, breaking into a mini-temper tantrum and falling to the ground. Luckily, Duchess Kate, who wore a custom purple Emilia Wickstead dress, was swift to calm her down, whispering something into her ear and picking her up before Prince William helped her onto their private plane back home.
Meanwhile, Prince George, who turns four on Saturday, appeared elated as he boarded the helicopter during the tour, strapping on a helmet and sitting in the pilot’s seat, similar to his royal father who flies with the East Anglian Air Ambulance service. The little prince is expected to celebrate his birthday with the Royal Family in London.
Earlier in the day, the Duchess of Cambridge showed off her love of music, directing the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra for a short time at Hamburg’s new concert hall.
Saying goodbye to Poland and Germany, Kensington Palace shared some sweet photos from the week, thanking everyone who took part in the royal visit. Take a look below.
