Miranda Lambert headlined the second day of this year’s Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn, Michigan, and switched things up a bit by giving fans a slow-burn rendition of a U2 classic to close out her set.
Following a performance of her own “Tin Man”, Lambert addressed the crowd, reports Billboard. “We’re all just searching for something — love, peace, happiness,” she told the audience. “So I’m gonna leave you with one that I think will heal ya.”
With that, Lambert launched into a haunting rendition of U2’s “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, accompanied by a single guitar as layers of accompaniment as the band and background singers slowly joined in as the song built to a crescendo.

While Lambert didn’t mention it specifically, she may have been inspired to include the song in her set after taking in a performance from U2’s “Joshua Tree” anniversary tour last month, tweeting after the show that the band’s performance “changed my life.”
