Liam Payne put his sweet, sweet voice in jeopardy while chowing down on ultra hot wings on Complex and First We Feast‘s “Hot Ones”.
Sitting down with the Internet’s hottest host, Sean Evans, Payne dished on life living with One Direction. “Louis [Tomlinson] was always the messiest,” Payne snitched. “You’d just find like random socks and stuff around the place.” The “Strip That Down” singer also labelled Harry Styles as the band’s most emotional member: “Harry cried when we first got the Sony deal.”
While indulging in an instalment of “Explain that ‘Gram” – a reoccurring “Hot Ones” segment where celebrities give context to their interesting Instagram photos – Payne played coy while reflecting on a snap he took with Drake.
“This is me and Drake in the club, which is so funny because we got thrown out of this party.” Everyone on set was waiting for more juicy details, but Payne wouldn’t budge. “You all want to know so much more,” he teased. “That’s all I can talk about.”
If you ever wondered what you should order the One Direction star should you snag a date with him, the answer is simple – some fried and gooey mozzarella sticks: “Mozzarella sticks are just the height of all culinary skill! Fried cheese with tomato stuff… I’m all about it!”
Payne wrapped up the segment by conquering the obscenely hot “Pepper X” hot sauce without so much as wince. After doubling the dose and celebrating with a dab, however, the heat began creeping up on him. “I’m sweating,” he exclaimed. “This just gets worse man… I got cocky, it’s happened.”
Payne released his debut solo single “Strip That Down”, co-written by Ed Sheeran, in late May.
