Louis Tomlinson is calling out Justin Bieber for cancelling the remainder of his Purpose world tour.
According to Tomlinson, 25, he thinks that even though Bieber may be going through some personal stuff right now, he should have pulled through for his fans.
Last week, Bieber announced he had called off the rest of his tour, citing unforeseen circumstances. According to a source close to Bieber, the singer was tired after being on the road for two years. While the Canadian icon has earned no sympathy from Tomlinson, Imagine Dragons support his decision, saying, “After doing the same thing for so long, it sort of can wear on your mental health. No matter how amazing the job is.”
During the “Back to You” singer’s interview with 92.3 AMP Radio, he called out Bieber for pulling out of the tour before it wrapped.
“Obviously, you have to be in a good position mentally, but I also think, to a certain degree, when you’re signing up to something, you should see it through,” Tomlinson said.
“There’s never enough that I can say or do for the fans. At the end of the day, it’s the people who are buying the records that are putting you where you are,” he continued.
While Tomlinson believes Bieber should have powered through, the girls from Fifth Harmony support Bieber’s decision to take some time off.
“We support him and support happiness. We know what it feels like, especially being on the road, and we’re super family-oriented. Like, for me, I get homesick a lot. He was on tour for about 18 months, so that’s a long time… He needed it,” Normani Kordei told ET.
