The lineup for the closing ceremony for the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 has been announced and it is star studded.
On Thursday it was announced that there will be performances from Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Adams, Bachman and Turner and Quebec singer-songwriter Couer de pirate.
The closing ceremony will take place at the Air Canada Centre on September 30, and you can buy your tickets for the evening’s celebrations here. Tickets start at just $60.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have secured some truly outstanding, internationally renowned talent for the Closing Ceremony of the Games,” Michael Burns, the CEO of Invictus Games Toronto 2017 said.
“It was important for us to offer a week filled with memorable experiences on and off the field of play, for the competitors, their friends and family members and the spectators across Canada and around the world, and this will mean closing out the week in spectacular fashion,” he continued.
This closing ceremony will also mark an important moment: Handing over the hosting duties to Sydney Austrailia, which will host the 2018 Invictus Games.
Alessia Cara, Sarah McLachlan, The Tenors and more are set to start the games which begin on September 23. Tickets are still available for the opening ceremony.
