Liam Gallagher took some time to jam with some fans at an Irish pub during his recent trip to Montreal.
The former Oasis singer was in town for the Osheaga Festival and used the opportunity to explore the city, coming upon Mckibbin’s Irish Pub downtown. He even joined in on an impromptu jam session with local musicians Belfast Andi and Swift Years’ Bob Cussen.
“He came, he sang, we drank, and just like that he was gone… awesome guy, surreal afternoon,” wrote a fan on Instagram who got to see it all.
Gallagher tweeted about his experience in Montreal, and was especially impressed by the view from Mount Royal Park. (Coarse language follows)
This is not the first time Gallagher has jammed at a pub. In 2015 he actually introduced some new music during a set at a pub in Charlestown, Ireland.
Gallagher’s recent set at Lollapalooza was cut short after only 20 minutes due to vocal problems, causing the singer to apologize to his fans who had attended the concert.
