Hollywood is reacting after U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the latest threat from North Korea.
When reporters asked Trump Tuesday afternoon about reports that North Korea had acquired the ability to place nuclear warheads onto intercontinental missiles, the President had an alarming response.
“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States,” Trump told the press at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, the Globalnews.ca reported. “They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening beyond a normal state and as I said they will be met with fire and fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”
What exactly “fire and fury” might mean is ambiguous, but that didn’t stop many, including plenty of celebrities on social media, from imagining the worst, including the possibility of nuclear war.
Of course, Donald Trump himself may have predicted all this way back in 2013.
