Kim Kardashian is laying to rest criticism over her parenting.
The reality television superstar addressed a photo of her son Saint, 1, sitting in a front-facing car seat. Kardashian was challenged for allowing such a young child sit in a car seat facing forward.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends “infants and toddlers ride in a rear-facing seat until they are at least 2 years old or until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their car seat manufacturer, which is typically about 40 pounds and 40 inches.”
In a new video uploaded to her channel, the 36-year-old celebrity defended her parenting. “What people didn’t know is that Saint is now the weight and the height requirement to sit forward-facing,” Kardashian explained. Marveling how Saint actually weighs more than his 4-year-old sister North, she added: “If that is believable, he does, and it is wild.”
