Ika Wong And Demetres Giannitsos
Before she boarded the Big Brother Canada Odyssey, Ika told us there's no way she'd get involved with anyone romantically while in the house. But it didn't take long for Demetres with his big smile and even bigger biceps to catch her eye and now there's no denying Ika and Demetres are the official showmance of season five. The've been trying to keep it low key (although we're pretty sure everyone knows there's something going on) but before Sindy with an S was evicted she busted the two kissing with a K. Sindy may be gone but will hooking up hurt Ika's game? Only time will tell but one thing's for certain, if Demetres ever writes Ika a love letter, he should keep in mind the woman knows her way around a paper shredder!
Alec Beall And Topaz Brady
A vintage "Big Brother Canada" showmance. Vancouverite Alec, 27, and Ontario dental dental hygienist, also 27, sparked early on in the show's first season. Alec and Topaz went on to do pretty much everything together - including getting evicted. Alec was voted out first with Topaz quickly behind when it was revealed there would be a surprise double eviction.
Allison White And Andrew Gordon
Allison, 25, started off as a "secret" houseguest on the second season of "Big Brother Canada" before viewers voted her officially into the house. It didn't take for the registered nurse from St. John's to start to take the pulse of the houseguests and catch the eye of 27-year-old Andrew Gordon from Calgary. The two spent a significant amount of time locking lips in between strategizing sessions, but their showmance appeared to flatline after Andrew became the fifth houseguest to be evicted.
Jordan Parhar And Sindy Nguyen
Something must have been in the water in the "Big Brother Canada" house in the third season because there were a few hookups among the houseguests, including the surprisingly sweet (with an S) match between 21-year-old self-described "dweeb" Jordan Parhar and 26-year-old sassy pageant queen Sindy Nguyen. Sindy admitted to having a crush (with a capital C) on the BC-born bowtie aficionado and before long, some kisses were exchanged. However, in the ultimate reminder that you can't trust anyone in the "Big Brother Canada" house, Sindy was one of the players to vote Jordan out. They were reunited in the jury house but never rekindled the flame. Sindy is currently back in the game on the show's fifth season, aboard the Big Brother Odyssey hoping to blast off with that $100,000 grand prize.
Zach Oleynik And Ashleigh Wood
Another season three coupling. The 21-year-old Calgarian Ashleigh Wood and boy-next-door university football star Zach Oleynik scored a touchdown and some makeout seshes throughout the season. Until Zach, seen as both a social and physical threat, was ultimately voted out. The showmance, like many things in life, didn't last. According to a quick creep of her Instagram, Ashleigh has since found love in the outside world with someone else.
Kevin Martin And Pilar Nemer
Kevin may have a professional poker face but he wasn't able to mask his emotions when it came to fellow houseguest Pilar "Pili" Nemer. The Calgary card shark and the Mexico-born East Coast cutie blossomed over the course of season three and continued long after the cameras stopped rolling. However, Kevin, who is back in the house competing on the show's fifth season, recently revealed that these days they're "best friends" but no longer a couple. When asked if he still had feeling for Pili he answered "that's an understatement" so maybe we shouldn't bet against these two just yet?
Jared Kesler And Kelsey Faith
Calgary flight attendant Kelsey Faith soared into the "Big Brother Canada" house in season four with dreams of keeping blood off her hands but ended up with Winnipeg's Jared Kesler's lips on her lips. The two formed a bond until Kelsey was voted out but were able to pick up where they left off when she was voted back into the house. Kelsey ended up making it all the way to the final two but her showmance with Jared did not make it much longer.
Jon Pardy And Neda Kalantar
Easily one of the most popular couples to emerge from "Big Brother Canada". But what makes Jon and Neda unique is that, while they were undoubtedly close while competing in the season two house, their relationship seemed more like a brother/sister vibe with sparks not flying after the season was over. Neda masterminded their way to the finale, where Jon had to make the decision to cut her loose in order to secure his own victory. But clearly she didn't hold a grudge, as months later the buddies announced their relationship had blossomed into romance. Before long the "Goofie Newfie" and the Vancouver fashionista relocated to Toronto where they lived together (off-camera this time). The couple has since called it quits, but it seems like there's no hard feelings as Jon is currently cheering on Neda who has blasted her way back into the "Big Brother Canada" house for season five.
Jillian MacLaughlin And Emmett Blois
They say you never forget your first and Jillian and Emmett were "Big Brother Canada"'s first showmance, which fans watched happen over the course of the show's inaugural season in 2013. Jill and Emmett's showmance became a real-life romance and the East Coast cuties moved in together in Nova Scotia after the show wrapped. It looked liked the fitness fanatics were going to live happily ever after, but by the time the twosome competed on "The Amazing Race Canada" in 2016, their relationship had run its course and the pair revealed they had broken up in late 2015. The outcome dashed the dreams of fans who were likely hoping for "Big Brother" wedding bells to one day ring. However, they remain good friends.
