The second film in Peter Jackson’s epic trilogy, the film picks up where last year’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”; left off as Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarves continue their trek across Middle Earth in hopes to reclaim their homeland from the unwanted squatter, the dragon Smaug.
