On Tuesday, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy hinted that some former cast-members would be returning to the upcoming 100th episode, tweeting: “ALL The Glee Originals received invites today to be in our 100th episode! More to follow.”;
In a series of subsequent tweets, Murphy has revealed that stars Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Saling (Puck), Heather Morris (Brittany) and Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) will all be returning for the landmark 100th epsisode. In addition, he also confirmed that Kristin Chenoweth will be returning to reprise her guest star role as wacky substitute teacher April Rhodes, with more big-name guest stars expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The 100th episode of Glee is set to air in March, and fans get to vote on which songs will be performed during the star-studded show.
