Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have been enjoying a whirlwind trip to Canada from the time they touched down in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Sunday to their stop in Regina, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, keeping Royal Watchers on their toes.

The royal couple were greeted by crowds of fans as they paid tribute to the Canadian Armed Forces in Fredericton and enjoyed a fireworks display, hosted by Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty on Victoria Day in Toronto. Prince Charles even tried his hand at becoming a DJ, while mixing some beats with local youth at U for Change and the Yonge Street Mission in Toronto on Tuesday.

“You’ve heard fascinating stories, horrifying stories in many ways, about what people have had to endure in their lives and have been able to overcome them,” says Prince Charles regarding efforts to help disadvantaged youth. “Very often in some ways with help from marvelous organizations – charities or inspiring people who have been able to encourage with new hope and inspiration.”

The four-day Royal Visit is part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Tour, keeping the royals busy meeting with Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Laureen Harper at the 1812 Commemorative Military Muster at Toronto’s Fort York Armoury, before heading to Regina – the last stop on their tour of Canada.

The rain didn’t keep Charles and Camilla away in Regina on Wednesday when they unveiled a plaque to mark their visit to the Saskatchewan Assembly Legislative Building, bringing their second trip to Canada as a couple to a close.
