Rumours are swirling that Cheryl Cole could be getting the ultimate revenge after getting axed from the American version of The X Factor, after new reports claim the stunning UK singer is in talks to join rival show “American Idol” with a multi-million dollar contract. But the brunette beauty’s rep tells ET Canada exclusively there is no truth to these claims.
“No one has approached Cheryl about American Idol,”; says her spokesperson. “Cheryl Cole is focusing on the release of her upcoming album A “Million Lights”.”;

Meanwhile, her star continues to rise across the pond with a cameo in the new comedy, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” Her co-star, Matthew Morrison, recently defended her saying X Factor bosses made a mistake when they let her go.
And Cameron Diaz told the Associated Press: “She’s so great, she’s lovely. She had such a great energy. What she did was really a favour to us because there wasn’t a lot for her to do, but there was a lot of ad-libbing. She just kept the energy up. She was a lot of fun.”;
