Did you think Jay Z’s 2006 album Kingdom Come was kinda lame? It’s cool. Jay Z isn’t too wild about it either.

On his Life + Times site, Jay Z has laid out what he thinks are his best-to-worst albums. Like a lot of Hova die-hards, the rapper ranks Reasonable Doubt as his favourite full-length, while the post-retirement effort Kingdom Come sits at the bottom of the list. (“First game back, don’t shoot me”; is the blurb Jay Z has attached to his lowest-ranked album.)

We have the self-picked rankings and accompanying blurbs below. What’s your take on Jay Z’s list? Is Magna Carta…Holy Grail placed too high? Is Vol. 1 getting sold short? Where would you place Watch the Throne if it were eligible? Give us your list in the comments.

2. The Blueprint (Classic)
3. The Black Album (Classic)
