Elisha Cuthbert and Dion Phaneuf will be spending their first Christmas together as a married couple this year and we’ve got all the details about their Christmas chores, what they enjoy most about the holidays and some tips for Christmas shopping.
“I do a lot of the decorating. He does a lot of the tree situation… the manly stuff,”; Elisha told us, with Dion adding, “I put together the tree.”; The couple opened up about their battle between picking up an artificial tree or a real one saying, “I feel like I’m gonna do something bad and things are gonna catch on fire if we go…”; Elisha started, with Dion quickly questioning “what, you’re going to go out and get the real tree?”;
Now that they have decided on their tree choice, the happy couple can focus on gifts, but not for each other. Elisha says, “our focus is always what are we going to get your brother or what are we going to get my siblings. It’s a time to really give and enjoy our family opening up gifts and spoiling them.”;
In order to get all those great gifts for family, every couple needs a way to get through the horrors of holiday shopping.
Here are Elisha and Dion’s top three:
1) Make a list. “Without a list you kind of just lose track of who you have and who you don’t”; Elisha says.
2) Go to Target “they do have everything”; Dion points out.
3) Wear good comfortable shoes. “Well, when you’re spending as much time as you do shopping, you should probably wear comfy shoes”; Dion jokingly tells Elisha.
Fans of the hit show 24 all know it’s not a joke that the show is going to make a long awaited return to TV, but will we see Elisha reprise the role of Kim Bauer?
Elisha told us “there hasn’t been a lot of information given… which is always the case with 24. I think everyone is really excited to see Jack Bauer again so…”; Just as Elisha started to talk more about 24, Dion’s phone went off. “Is that him? That’s him! That’s Jack Bauer going “please stop talking the show,'”; she joked. So unfortunately we’ll just have to wait and see.
