Nirvana, KISS & Many More Set To Join The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

By the looks of things, 2014’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class will “Smell Like Teen Spirit”; and  “Rock and Roll All Nite.”;

That’s our roundabout way of telling you that the upcoming slate of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will include Nirvana and KISS, as well as Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, Hall & Oates and Peter Gabriel.

(On the flip side, N.W.A., Chic and The Replacements were some of the nominated acts that did not make it into Cleveland’s hallowed rock hall this go-around.)

Beatles manager Brian Epstein and Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham will both be honoured by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, with each earning the Ahmet Ertegun Award. The honour recognizes industry professionals that have had a significant impact on the development of rock and roll.

Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band will also be recognized by the Hall. The group has earned the prestigious Award for Musical Excellence.

The 2014 induction ceremony is scheduled to take place in April and will be broadcast on HBO the following month.
