Continuing his Christmas tradition Bono and Glen Hansard of The Swell Season surprised shoppers on Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. The duo took to the street singing “Merry Xmas Everybody”; and “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”; as part of a mission to raise money for homelessness.
This is the fifth year in a row that Bono has raised money for charity on Christmas Eve by singing on Grafton Street. In previous years, other famous singers such as Sinead O’Connor have joined the U2 frontman to serenade shoppers with Christmas carols.
