Gwen Stefani To Launch A New Casual Clothing Line

By Dan MacRae, .

It looks like Gwen Stefani’s fashion kingdom is about to get a little bit larger.

The “Sweet Escape”; singer has revealed plans to launch a clothing line called “DWP”; that places an emphasis on casual cool. (At publication time, there was no word on if a cheerleader outfit qualifies as casual cool.)

This DWP line (a collaboration with denim guru Michael Glasser) isn’t Gwen’s only foray into the world of fashion design. A decade ago, the No Doubt frontwoman launched her L.A.M.B. line, which sold by the truckload through the mid-’00s.

“You have access to all these clothes from all your lines,”; shared Gwen on her new venture. “It’s like my dream, and a lot of it is stuff I actually dreamed up. But I’m always still missing those pieces and it’s so annoying, and I don’t mean to be greedy, but it’s the same with everyone. “I’m like, “OK, am I really going to wear that again?’ So this [collaboration] is about trying to find that piece that is super wearable but you still feel cool in.”;
