Daft Punk may have infamously blown off Stephen Colbert last summer, but the duo has committed to be at the upcoming Grammy Awards, where they’ll perform alongside music legend Stevie Wonder in what promises to be a must-see musical mash-up.
As reported by Rolling Stone, the collaboration will also include producer Nile Rogers and Pharrell Williams, who both appeared on the recent Daft Punk Album Random Access Memories. In addition, the legendary session musicians who played on the album — Chris Caswell, Nathan East, Omar Hakim and Paul Jackson Jr. — will also be joining the performance.
Not only will this mark Daft Punk’s first live performance since the hit album came out last year, notes Rolling Stone, the Grammy Awards appearance will also be the first time the duo has appeared on TV since they performed with Kanye West at the 2008 Grammys.
The Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 26.
