Kelly Osbourne and her partner of over two years, vegan chef Matthew Mosshart have ended their engagement.
The stars’ rep tells Us Weekly, “The split is amicable and the pair continues to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another.”; The two first announced their plans to walk down the aisle last summer.
They first met at Kate Moss and Jamie Hince’s romantic English wedding in 2011. Matthew, who also moonlights as a model, is brother to Jamie’s The Kills bandmate, Alison Mosshart.
Their spokesperson also adds, “Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don’t expect it.”;
Today, Kelly’s mom Sharon shares her two cents on their break-up on her show The Talk: “Matthew is a lovely guy. They had a great two years together…engagements are a test run…it didn’t work…let the auditions begin.”;
