Global TV has given its highly anticipated new medical drama Remedy a premiere date, announcing the series will debut on Monday, Feb. 24.

With Veronica Mars star Enrico Colantoni heading the cast, the show will take an “upstairs/downstairs”; look at a Toronto hospital that also throws a complicated family dynamic into the mix.

Colantoni (who’ll also be making his directorial debut on the show) plays Bethune Hospital’s acting Chief of Staff, Dr. Allen Conner. Also starring are: Dillon Casey as Conner’s son, Griffin, a med school dropout who works in the hospital as an orderly; Sara Canning as his sister, Melissa, a surgeon with her own set of issues; and Sarah Allen as eldest Conner sibling Sandy, an ICU nurse who’s about to get married.

In addition, Remedy also stars Matt Ward as ER doc (and Sandy’s fiancé) Brian Decker, Genelle Williams as PSA Zoe Rivera, Diego Fuentes  as orderly Bruno Dias, and The Red Green Show“s Patrick McKenna as Frank Kanaskie, the hospital’s basement-based head of Transport and Housekeeping. Slings and Arrows star Martha Burns plays Rebecca Baker, absentee mother of the Conner siblings who’s described as “high functioning family drunk and power attorney.”;
