Hollywood manager Jordan Feldstein is no longer representing singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, and the reasons behind it are plenty weird. Basically, he got on the wrong side of the Osbourne family. Never a good idea!
A little context for you: Jordan, Sara, and The Talk host Sharon Osbourne all attended Saturday’s pre-Grammy gala at L.A.’s Beverly Hilton Hotel. So far, so amicable. Alas, the peace was to be short lived: during dinner, Sharon approached Jordan at his table and proceeded to hurl expletives – plus her drink and a dinner plate! – at the high-profile manager.
Why? Well, witnesses say Sharon was nonplused about some unflattering comments Jordan had made her son Jack. And Sharon – rarely one to back down from a fight – wasn’t going to let a fancy-pants dinner stand in the way of her and someone badmouthing her brood.
Fast-forward to Sunday’s Grammy ceremony: Jordan was a no-show, despite client Sara’s nominations (Album of the Year and Pop Solo Performance). No word on why, but fast-forward again to Tuesday and it’s now official: Jordan is no longer a member of Team Bareilles.
Yep, Sara fired him. And here’s the lingering question: was this out of career frustration (after all, she did go home without a Grammy win on Sunday), or was she showing solidarity to sister Sharon post Plate-Gate? Time will tell.
