The Good Will Hunting boys are back! In a producer role, that is. Folks at The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Wednesday that Oscar-winning duo Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have sold their first half-hour comedy to CBS.
Titled More Time with Family, the upcoming sitcom will star comedian Tom Papa as a man who puts the breaks on his hectic career to – you guessed it – spend more time with his family.
Tom is no stranger to working with Matt, having made memorable appearances in The Informant! and Behind the Candelabra. Those with a keen eye (and ear) may also know him from his popular Sirius/XM show Come to Papa, and his two-season stint hosting Jerry Seinfeld’s The Marriage Ref.
And believe it or not, this is 2014’s second TV project for busy-bee Ben, who recently sold the crime drama The Middle Man to FOX. Mind you, scheduling conflicts with the upcoming Man of Steel sequel may temporarily put the project on hold.
