Nominations for the the 43rd annual Juno Awards were announced this morning, with nominees including Robin Thicke, Céline Dion, Serena Ryder, Drake, Michael Bublé, Hedley, Tegan and Sara, Blue Rodeo and many other top Canadian music acts.

Montreal’s Arcade Fire is this year’s front-runner, leading the pack with six nominations, while Bublé and Ryder are tied for second place with five apiece. Tegan and Sara, Drake, Dion and Hedley each garnered four nominations, while Thicke and Walk Off The Earth each scored three noms.
Chantal Kreviazuk and Raine Maida will receive the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award, while iconic rockers Bachman-Turner Overdrive be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
Nominations were announced this morning in Toronto. In addition to the nominations, artists confirmed to perform at the 2014 awards broadcast include Robin Thicke, City and Colour, Serena Ryder, and Tegan and Sara.
Nominees/performers Tegan and Sara have already commented on their multiple Juno nods: “We’re thrilled to have been asked to perform at The Junos this year and absolutely stunned that Heartthrob has been nominated four times,”; the duo said in a statement. “It’s an honour and we’re thrilled. Have to run, our mom is calling!”;
Serena Ryder, who’ll also be performing, was likewise thrilled by her five nominations. “It’s an honour to be nominated amongst such a talented group of artists and I’m humbled by the nominations,”; said the “Stompa”; singer. “I can’t wait to get out to Winnipeg and once again perform live at the Junos.”;
The 2014 years Junos will be held at Winnipeg’s MTS Centre on Sunday, Mar 30; this year’s host has yet to be announced.
