Susan Sarandon is going to be a grandma!
Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri Martino and husband Kyle Martino are going to have a baby, and shared the happy news exclusively with People magazine.
“We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our first child together,” the couple told People. “Having a family has always been a priority for us both and we couldn’t be happier!”;
Eva has appeared in such TV series as How I Met Your Mother, Californication and New Girl, while Kyle is a former soccer star now working as an NBC sports analyst.
Back in October, Eva and her mom had signed on as stars and exec producers of a new NBC sitcom pilot that, if successful, will be slated for next season. Eva and Susan would play, appropriately enough, a mother and daughter who move in with each other in the tentatively titled Growing Ivy. No word yet on what effect Eva’s pregnancy will have on production.
