All-Star Lineup Of Presenters Announced For Canadian Screen Awards

The Canadian Screen Awards has announced its roster of presenters for its second annual awards show, with an extraordinary array of Canadian stars in attendance to hand out awards to Canada’s film and TV talent.

Presenters will including Amanda Brugel (Seed), Arisa Cox (Big Brother Canada), Dave Foley (Spun Out), Lauren Holly (Motive), Mia Kirshner (I Think I Do), Adam Korson (Seed), Jessica Lowndes (90210), Amber Marshall (Heartland), Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Shay Mitchell (Pretty Little Liars), Jon Montgomery (The Amazing Race Canada), Zoie Palmer (Lost Girl), Missy Peregrym (Rookie Blue), Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz), Anna Silk (Lost Girl), George Stroumboulopoulos (George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight) and David Sutcliffe (Cracked), with additional presenters to be announced in the coming weeks.

The second annual Canadian Screen Awards — a new award that combines the Geminis and the Genies — will be hosted by Martin Short, who also hosted the inaugural broadcast last year. Director David Cronenberg will receive the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award, to be presented by his friend and frequent collaborator Viggo Mortensen.

The 2014 Canadian Screen Awards will be held Sunday, Mar. 9 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, and will be broadcast nationwide on CBC.
